"Mozart wrote more music than any other classical composer so it is difficult to capture it all. This box set offers a good sample of his many pieces of music. Overall it is a good value."
Good overview

"This is a great overview of Mozart's complete compositional works. He was one of the most prolific composers who ever lived (not THE most prolific...), and wrote some of the most memorable melodies ever. The five discs included in this album showcase Mozart's favorite compositional genres: Quartets, Solo Piano, Piano Concerti, Serenades, Divertimenti, and Symphonies. There is not much left out, although each disc has only 8-11 tracks on average. This box-set follows the normal "greatest hits" format for Classical composers by sampling single movements from works instead of allowing the listener to hear a complete piece through it's entire cycle. But, this is meant to be an introduction, and will give the listener a good idea of the style of the composer.
The performances are of good quality and I would recommend this for someone seeking to find out more about classical music, or would make a great gift to a young musician or curious listener!"
