"In this CD Battiato delves into meditation, philosophy, Arabic poetry, the history of the Roman Empire, conjures pictures of the continent of Atlantis and generally weaves it all into a very melodic and flowing series of songs. The instrumentation here includes alot of layered and mesmerizing synth keyboard and dependance on his limited but effective voice. As always, he is unlike anyone I have ever heard. Not so much edgy as just unfettered by convention. Highly talented and drawing on some very obscure influences."
