Unlike some who have picked up the Joe Pass mantle and plowed old ground, Potenza builds on the master's work, amplifying his style and moving forward into new and original, yet familiar territory.This first album is particularly gratifying because the music is clean, (finger flubbs and all) and highly accessible. I am looking forward to more work by this "second generation" master in developement."
