Interviews always produce some insights not found in the various biographies (about seven). For example, Zappa discusses many technical details of his music. In fact, without a musical background (including music history) much of the discussion might be incomprehensible. I shared this CD with a rock/jazz organist who was familiar with Zappa's work, but not as familiar as I am. He was duly impressed with Zappa's musical knowledge. I wasn't at all surprised. My friend was delighted with the discussions. It was good to hear Zappa's voice.Bottom line: If you like Zappa, you'll love this CD."
