"I bought this CD for Frankie's mega-hits, as Venus, Dede Dinah, Bobby Socks to Stockings, etc. All of these songs are originals and are just as good now as when they were first released. Imagine my surprise when I listened to the songs that I didn't remember and found them to be equally enjoyable. Why the release "Where Are You" never became a #1, I'll never know. It's one of the best I've ever heard. Do youself a favor and buy this CD. You'll enjoy it for Frankie's biggest hits. But you'll love it for the songs that weren't."

The Only Frankie Avalon CD You'll Ever Need

"Although "Beauty School Dropout" is missing (perhaps for licensing reasons), all of Avalon's hits are here in their original versions. The often maligned teen idol landed lots of pop hits, including the lushly Latin-flavored "Venus" and the harmonically adventurous "Why." Considering that only five of the 18 tracks on this CD didn't reach the Pop Top 40 charts, this is the quintessential collection for any fan."
