Kander and Ebb Really do "Make the World Go Round"

"If you like show tunes performed by some of the finest singers to ever give voice to them, this CD is an absolute must have! There are so many songs on this CD, and everyone a show stopper, that it's practically a steal at the price. If you are not a Kander and Ebb afficiando, which I am not, you will find yourself asking "did they do THIS ONE, TOO"? The duet by Bob Cuccioli and Jim Walton of "I Don't Remember You" and "Sometimes a Day Goes By" is absolutely fabulous. Every song is done with perfect styling. The arrangements are fabulous and the order of the music is just right. I've seen CD's claiming that "this is the only Broadway CD you'll ever need". Don't believe it. This CD is one that contains the most popular music from some of the most famous and more current shows that I've ever heard. If you love show music (even if you don't know what show these songs are from), you'll love this CD."
Great Collection of Broadway Greats.

"The music on this CD is just great. Kander and Ebb were probably some of the best composers of all time. This CD has all the classics and some of their lesser known songs. The one thing that made it not get 5 stars was the fact that so many of the songs are mixed together. For example "Quiet Thing" and "Marry Me" were mixed together in an array that really didn't suit either of them all that well. The overall soundtrack is very good, the recording quality is quite good too but I just wish they would have left some of the songs in their full format."
A Great Revue

"The music of Kander & Ebb is some of the best that broadway has to offer, and this show gives you just a taste. All of the performers are wonderful. Karen Ziemba is a particular standout. The flow of the songs is great, as well as the arrangements. If you like Kander & Ebb than this is the cd for you."
Well worth buying

"This is an excellent greatest-hits type musical, and a good recording. My only complaint is that it doesn't include the songs "Class" or "The Rink", which the stage show does include. Still, highly recommended."
Good show with good music

"I had to play in the orchestra for a run of this show last summer and going into it I had never even heard of Kander and Ebb. However, after listening to this music countless times I began to really dig it. Some of the songs are humorous, but pretty much all of them carry a message. Also the singing on this disc is very well done, personally i'm a fan of the performance of "Spider Woman" (I don't know the singer's name). All in all this is a cd worth listening to."
