"Listening to this CD by the excellent South African 60s group Freedom's Children I feel like I'm in a weird alternate universe where this group is as well-known as Yes, Deep Purple, and Pink Floyd -- it's that good. They had the talent, but not the breaks. I rate it as highly as albums by the above groups in the mid- to late 60s. It merits more attention, even at this late date."

"The Astral sounds are innovative and haunting. The band's career was impeded by the apartheid prejudice. The best band the world never heard. About time? Catch the moonbeams that breathe before the roaring of the sun. Well recommended for psychedelic music fans. -Neill Cassells"
