"Man, when I first heard The Freeze's Guilty Face ep, it just blew our minds. They were lightning fast, tight as a drum, and wrote cool lyrics about dark topics. easily our favorite Boston band. Then, Land Of The Lost came out, and again, our heads were blown off. Though not as fast as Guilty Face, the songs were excellent, well written and well played. Bill Close's guitar work kept getting better and better as they went on. Cliff Hanger's lyrics and vocals just ruled, as usual. By the time they released Rabid Reaction, I hadn't heard it until just a coupla years ago. The Freeze's later material, starting with Rabid Reaction, pretty well stayed with the old school punk sound of their early Boston Not L.A. material, but with Close on guitar, it sounded that much better. This band is solid right up to their latest, One False Move. Get all of their stuff, or miss it at your peril."

"Rabid Reaction was, in my opinion, the best late 80's punk album before it all died. Our band covered several songs of theirs, and it is awesome that Amazon is offering both og their best albums for the price of one! But I have all the vinyl :)"
