"For anyone looking for a great record that merges genres of electronica/chillout/lounge and ethnic worldly grooves look no further. An amazing collection of some of the freshest talent to show up on compilations nowadays, French Kiss will emerge as a beautifully composed record with a long shelf life. I was amazed at the smoothness of the tracks on this disk. Hip enough to fit into the runway fashion circuit, sexy enough to shake the walls of the bedroom and captivating enough to be played over and over in moments of euro-blissful moments. From the first track to the last track, French Kiss is monumental."
This is quite an adventurous experience.

"Coming hot off the heels of the "Spiritual Chillout" CD from 2004, I have been increasingly turned onto the Intent City label in the past year and have stumbled upon this newest release from the Label. The apparent folding of Earthtone left a major gap to me but Intent City along with Sequoia Records seem to be inheriting the torch. "French Kiss" despite the sometimes sickeningly sweet title is a wonderful collection of French-based songs with songs sung in French and a beautiful mix of jazz, French folk, and some electronic groove all blended together throughout the disc. "Secret Love" is arguably my favorite song on this album with a R&B-ish sound and beat with seductive high-pitched vocals. The beat and rhythm along with the melodic structure are incredible. Even if one's not in the mood for a romantic night with one's lover, this is a great CD to listen to on a cloudy rainy afternoon in the summer. Highly recommended."
