"The fruupp is an Irish prog band.Thay may be considered a symphonic folk prog band. Thay use a lot of mellotron and thare are moments that they sound like cressida, or genesis, but thay also has a unique sound not like any other band.

They released 4 albums, all are in this excellent compilation.

the 4 albums are :

Future legends which is really great,rocky and very progy.

Seven secrets, The prince of heaven's eye and Modern Masquerades.

I recommend on buying this CD .Don't stop hearing it over and over again."

"Fruupp is a bit hard to describe,but folk prog though more smooth prog.

As it says in the booklet.'Some may find it dated though,I prefer it as the feel of a warm blanket on a cold winters night'.PERFECT.

You get the bands 4 albums -1 track from each album due to space restrictions,but I can live with that.

If you like unique music like Van Der Graaf Generator,Caravan or Gentle Giant,you might like this.Maybe a cross between Caravan's In the land of grey and pink,and GG's Aquiring the taste,is not that far off.Lovely stuff.

Somebody out there is probably better at describing the music than I am,but,,,my 3 cents worth here.I love it."
