Synopsis

Description
Start with a splash of blues and a base of Texas country. Knead 12 months, let sit, add a two time all state drummer. Mix 2 incredible guitar player/songwriters and prepare for final baking in San Antonio. Once done spray lightly with 13 original tunes, add interest to taste. Full Throttle was born in the summer of 2003 in San Antonio, Texas when middle school band friends Keegen Reed (Bass/vocals) and Justin Belz (guitar/vocals) met drummer John Clark. Both Keegan (a bass major at North Texas) and Justin (a Freshman at Texas A&M) had quit school to journey back home and pursue a dream. Soon, getting together everyday for jam sessions quickly turned into recording and finally playing their into venues such as The Cove, Tin Pan Alley, Pop A Top, Crabby Jacks and other private gigs. After 7 months, a decision to replace drummer John Clark with two time all-state drummer Joe Cortez would be the ultimate transformation for the band. Their debut self titled album includes 13 original tracks including, "Somewhere Texas," "Comin? Home," and "All Alone Tonight." The album is a perfect combination of Texas country and blues, a.k.a. Texas Soul. The band loves to perform live and they make for an incredible show. With Keegan blowing fat bass and Justin shredding up incredible guitar riffs, to Joe?s mind boggling drum solo?s, they will always keep the crowd demanding more. You might even catch them delving into other musical genres such as funk or even alternative rock. The three band members are pretty much inseparable. Even when they?re not on stage together they can be found working at music stores and shows, attending concerts, sitting in on other gigs or just kicking back. Be on the lookout because Full Throttle?s just getting warmed up!
