Dutch duo Don & Roel Funcken a.k.a FUNCKARMA deploy their latest attack of warm, intricate electronics and deeply structured beats on the latest 15 track album Bion Glent. Funckarma's music is highly emotive and at the same time mechanically lush with distant synth tinkering, choppy funk pulses and IDM treatments of surprisingly original material. Don and Roel Funcken are probably one of the most prolific electronic music duos in europe if not the world. Together they have a long history in electronic music, working together with a long string of international artists and in various projects and musical fields, such as Shadowhuntaz (Funckarma + Non Genetic), Quench and, of course, the Funckarma moniker. They have remixed a slew of artists such as Comtron, Sandor Caron, Funkstörung and Gridlock, and released a grip of albums and singles on various labels (Skam, DUB, Neo Ouija, n5MD, U-cover). Funckarma is mad electronics influenced by dub, hip-hop and jazz.
