The Futures deserved better.

"The Futures were a great R&B/Soul-harmony vocal group that deserved a much better fate. These guys should have been as popular and as big as The Four Tops, Temptations, Dramatics and The O'Jays. Unfortunately, their record sales and chart placings were truly dismal and they drifted into relative obscurity. The reissue of their 1979 and 1980 Philadelphia International LPs on this great CD, however, should make more people aware of this excellent but inexplicably underrated group."
