"I was not sure what i expected when i ordered this cd. Once i poped it in and heard the tracks i could not help but have a smile on my face. Each track is distincly diffrent yet brought me back to younger days when i was kicking butts and taking names at the arcade. If you expect a direct port of old school tracks then this might not be the cd for you. Tracks are heavily remixed which offers such a diffrent feel then the old 8-bit sound bites from the game.

"I downloaded the tracks from a friend's computer. I fell in love with this soundtrack. ALL the mixes fit each character. Everything, from the beats and instruments-- and even some vocals were perfectly matched to the characters. You'll end up playing this cd over the actual game music.



Ken, Sagat, Vega(US=bison) and Bison(US=balrog) are my faves.



But Ryu and E. Honda(US=bison!!!) are in my opinion the best ones.



The drums in Ryu's track are crazy! I especially love the begining of the song with the guy's solo..... yes there is singing, but it's 'engrish' and it is full of win.



Honda's track is like unlike anything I've ever heard-- it's like a nightclub, a sumo tournament, and a kooky japanese gameshow cocktail with a splash of Daft Punk-- it's insane and great!



In closing, I HAD to buy actual cd. I paid out the a$$ for this thing, but I regret nothing. I'm blasting it as I type this review.



Don't look at the price-- just buy it."
