"Back in 1992 when i first danced to "HUMAN NATURE" i said to my friend:who the hell is this weirdo?, what is he talking about?(the song used part of Billy Graham"s 1958 speech to lambast against man"s intolerance towards his fellow man.)But this didn't stop me from dancing to the powerfull and delicious baseline,this song was a non-stop dance experience. It cost me an arm & a leg to find this single finally i found the 12'inch in vinyl and i play it in every party and to everybody i knew,and every- body loved it. "ESCAPE" was another single also very powerfull, again the baseline was over the top,"WHO PAYS THE PIPER" is true HI-NRG dance on the dark side. "THE EMOTIONAL HOOLIGAN" wich was the name of gary's first album,this song changes your mood right away to an emotional trip of regrets in a mellow reggae beat. Is hard to explain this album,you just have to listen to it,one thing you won't be able to do is to stop dancing to the complete album. THIS IS TRUE DANCE MUSIC."

"I met Gary Clail when I went to Penzance where he owns a bed+breakfast.He was very nice and let me sample one of his recordings which was HUMAN NATURE,and I loved it! This man is a GENIUS and this album is not to be missed!"

"Gary Clail created dance(able) music with a human touch. As a DJ/mixer/toaster, his portfolio includes UK dub experimentalists Tackhead and Dub Syndicate. This is a riot of rebellious reggae and house rhythms suffused with righteous anger. Prime club shakers are the techno-influenced Escape and the ranting Human Nature (not the hit single verson but still good). The lilting reggae of Emotional Hooligan reminds one of UB40 until the dog barks, while the little-girl sung Magic Penny manages to charm without sounding twee. The ominous Rumours is poignant social comment, while Beef, his club hit of 1990, still sounds fresh. Gary Clail is no Shakespeare, but the way in which he says what he has to say is unique. You can also shake your body to it."
