"When I bought this album, I knew this album was gonna be a great one knowing all three Danny Wilson's albums, "Meet Danny Wilson," "Bebop Moptop," and "Sweet Danny Wilson." This album simply exceeded my expectation, and I loved every single song in the album. The entire album is only less than 40 min, but this album has such a quality that makes me want to listen over and over. Poetic and romantic lyrics and melodies could take you to the world of imagination. I just can't say enough about this album. If you liked Danny Wilson, you are going to like this album!"
The best pop music never played on American radio

"Congratulations...if you have searched through the archives and found this guy it means you probably know Gary's: Ten Short Songs... basically picks up where Danny Wilson left off (he was DW's lead vocalist). I write this half wanting to share a great find and half wanting to keep it to myself. But anymore pressure we can put on Gary to get another project out there is worth the risk. The music on Ten Short songs... is catchy, singable, and melodic. It truly is a mystery to me why Gary hasn't seen greater commercial success here in the states. The songs on the disk span the spectrum from the provocative "This Is Why J" to the spunky "Let's Make A Family", (the first dance at the wedding reception will never be the same). The entire CD is a keeper-- well produced, well played and very well sung. Gary's approach to a song is typically Scottish: moody but sincere. I won't hold it against him though; my family hails from his hometown."

"So much music these days lacks passion or any form of genuine This album - over 10years old now oozes passion and quality and, believe it or not, was recorded in Gary's flat in London.
Like Bebop Moptop this was criminally underrated in it's day but contains that magic for which the Danny's were known.
If you like DW you'll love this - and if you haven't heard any of the Danny's stuff you'll appreciate what a great songwriter and performer Gary Clarks was and is.
I recommend you buy this... you can buy me drink when you've heard it, love, Neil"
