"Gary McFarland & Co. pose the question "Does the sun really shine on the moon?" Of course it does, and the sun certainly shines on these bright intepretations of some modern classics. "God Only Knows," "By The Time I Get To Phoenix," and "Lady Jane" all benefit from McFarland's arrangements. "Flea Market," originally recorded by Gabor Szabo, gives McFarland a chance to unleash some great vibes chops. It's all great fun. It's time Gary McFarland is given his due on the reissue front."

"This album is fun. If you like the vibes you like Mc Farland. The album that should be released is his SOFT SAMBA STRINGS. Incredible string arrangments with his smooth samba style."
Some of the best for Gary McFarland

"The only album that remotely compares to this one is Gary McFarland (Today). This is an excellent record and the selection O'Morro is worth the price of the ablum itself. McFarland has a soft mellow touch in his arranging that will be sorly missed by many. He is not well known, but his few admirers relish his every note. I've been to New york
City and paid $60.00 and more for just one of his older records.
He is very hard to find these days, but well worth the effort.
