It formed a part of the launch for the Jimi Hendrix Live At Monterey program and featured Gary Moore and his band performing classic Hendrix tracks. At the end of the night Gary was joined by Mitch Mitchell and Billy Cox of the Jimi Hendrix Experience for 3 tracks. Gary Moore was one of the finest British guitarists of all time and is one of the few players who could pay homage to Jimi Hendrix's groundbreaking and truly distinctive guitar style. (bobrjr29) from TRUCKEE, CA Reviewed on 1/26/2013... wow thisw is a very cool disc...Jimi wld be proud of the job Gary and his boys did on this great cd. let me say this...all the songs are well done...Gary doesnt try to imitate Jimi but he never strays far from the original versions....I wont bore you with a track by track listing they all are terrific...get this disc and put it in your player put on the headphones (the only way to listen closely) and relax...its that good
