"The Geezinslaw Brothers, Sam and Son, are an Austin, Texas-based comedy duo. The first started performing together back in the 1960s, and they had three songs that made the Country charts between 1966 and 1967. Then they didn't have any more hits until 25 years later, when "Help, I'm White and I Can't Get Down" from this album became a hit. It's a very funny song, which is the highlight of this album. Speaking of this album, it is presented like it is a live album, although all the songs were actually taped in a recording studio. They inserted applause and laughter from a Geezinslaws concert in between the songs, and also added comedy routines from the concert. Most of the songs are of a humorous nature, but they do play a few "straight" songs, including the classic love song "You Belong To Me". By the way, one of the comedy songs here, "Copenhagen", was later recorded by Jeff Foxworthy, of all people. This is a pretty funny album, and I would recommend it to fans of country comedy."
Absolute silliness...
