"There simply aren't enough superlatives to describe "Drawn to the Deep End." If you liked "Olympian," you should definitely look into this CD. If you like the romantic, lovelorn side of the Smiths, then you, too, should definitely look into this CD. Nearly every song is an ode to love, without falling into the trap of becoming campy or cheesy. This CD is less cohesive than "Olympian," but also more mature and compelling. I have fallen in love with "We Could Be Kings," "Save Me, I'm Yours," and "Where Are They Now?" in the same way I adore "London, Can You Wait," "Olympian," and "Be My Light, Be My Guide." This excellent CD proves that Gene are the artists that we fans had hoped they were since "Olympian." Make no mistake: "Olympian" and "Drawn to the Deep End" are two very different albums. They are divergent and fantastic in their own ways."
