London-based DJ Paul 'General' Levy burst onto the reggae scene in the early nineties as one of the UK's most serious challengers to the likes of Jamaica's Shabba Ranks & Buju Banton. Hits such as the dancehall anthems 'Heat', 'Breeze' & 'The Wig' established him as not only a major talent, but also a roughhouse DJ with as much originality & flair as any of his Jamaican counterparts. His ability to adapt his style to jungle rhythms broadened his audience considerably & today he is equally well respected as an esteemed reggae DJ & junglist performer.
