CD Reviews

A great mix of what's to come in trance.

"I was a big fan of awake, and expected P.M. edition to be as good. Well, in my opinion it is far superior to awake. George has changed direction with his music, and it is awesome! My friends and I picked this one up on a recent trip to hear Dj tiesto live, and listened to it on the ride home. I can't think of a better cd to end the night with. The atmosphere created felt like we were still at the club. The melodies and deep basslines combine to create nonstop energy and beauty. Definately one of the best releases of the year."
An epic Mix

"With release the PM EDITION George Acosta has established himself as the top trance DJ in the U.S. The PM EDITION is an amazing journey into the world of Epic Trance. This is quite possibly one of the greatest sets i've ever herd. The track selection is excellent and mixing is seamless. His years of turntable experience are showcased wonderfully. If you've herd his AWAKE cd , which is equally brilliant by the way, then this masterpiece is no suprise. As other DJ's such as Paul Oakenfold and the likes stray away from this style of trance because its supposedly "cheesy" George creates a hammer that cracks the skull of Oakenfold's monotonous ANOTHER WORLD disc. In regards to the specific tracks on this disc all are superb. My personal favorites are Tillman Uhrmacher's Free and Marc LaCruz'N1Ace Da Brain's Dancing in the Dark. Free includes one of those epic breakdowns that makes the hair on your arm stand straight up. Dancing in the Dark contains a guest apperance by the Grim Reaper. Although the words may be a bit of an annoyance to some they really add to the track that starts slow but climaxes into a nuclear explosion. All in all this is a must have and I can't wait to hear the AM EDITION."
One of the best!!!

"This is a really cool CD.My favorite tracks are 4,5,6,7,8,9 and 10.The songs are moving, with driving bass and soaring synth sounds, very melodic and smooth and just well mixed together. The kind of music that can give you give you goosebumps. Some of the artists here I have never heard before but they are fantastic. This CD is better than Awake and far better than the AM edition.George has a really good selection here.I recommend this CD highly to anyone that loves to dance and just get lost in the music. To me this is inspirational.Track 8 is just awesome by Alex Rocco,"Set You Free".It starts off with a nice driving beat, slows down a bit and then climaxes into this Hot number that would put you in a frenzy! No regrets here buying this CD."
