"It's great to see this available on CD. It originally came out in the mid 80's, and I used to have it on video, recorded from the HBO presentation. This was one of his last really funny routines before he began to slip into bitterness and repetition. From the opening riff, when he goes off on all the possible ways to say hello and good-bye, he shows us his love of wordplay. Later on are the classic routines about how football, basketball, & football are the only real sports, as well as the one on losing stuff. This being George Carlin, the language is beyond R-rated, but it is also beyond funny. Buy it -- you won't be disappointed."

"If you like satirical comedy, you'll love this. The piece on sports is one of the best comedy bits I've ever heard. If you're a Carlin fan, this CD is a must have."

"There isn't much that George Carlin can't make fun and make it all enjoyable! If you need to feel better about the world as you see it, look at it through his eyes. He is funny, insightful and while he may be angry, it is the stuff that is worth being angry about. I very highly recommend this CD, as long as you are okay with adult language."

"I loved the pre-9/11 George. This is an excellent example of his 'best' work."
