"I must admit that I was big George Huff fan on AI and was very disappointed when he was voted off. I also will admit that I was somewhat disappointed when I learned that he had signed with Word and was going the gospel/christian route because I had visions of him being the next Sam Cooke or David Ruffin. He truly has a voice that transends generations. After listening to this cd, I'm sorry I ever doubted Mr. Huff. He indeed made the right decision. George definitely takes you to church on Go, Tell It On The Mountain. My only complaint is that the song was not longer. I was definitely clapping my hands and bobbing my head to this one. Listening to this cd, it is evident that George Huff will succeed at whatever genre of music he decides to sing. I could listen to Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas a thousand times and never get tired of it. His voice is so mellow, soothing, and relaxing. He does a beautiful job on it. On the Medley: Angels We Have Heard on High/Hark the Herald Angels, I found myself saying please George do a jazz album. This is truly a great first cd and just wets my tastebud in anticipation of for his full cd. If it is anything like the Christmas Ep, George Huff will be around a long, long time. This cd is highly recommended. Great job, George."
George, baby, you could sing the phone book to me!!

"I was devastated when George Huff got knocked out of AI3 - he deserved to go much further than Jasmine Trias! But we're beyond that now. I love George's silky smooth voice with just a touch of gruffness underneath. And he does such a warm job with these Christmas classics, I can't wait to hear more from him!
One note - if you use Windows Media Player, the song clips may play out of order. You know you want to play them all anyway! ;)"
Wow, what a voice!

"I thought George should've won american idol, but that's another story. His voice is so smooth, nice R&B style. He seems like a good kid too. I wish he made a complete Christmas album instead of the 5 song version and hopefully releases his own album soon. Love ya George!!! (Huff bounce) You've got TONS of fans, keep it coming, man."

"I just love this entire EP and only wished it was longer. But now I have so much to look forward to when George Huff puts out his full length CD in 2005.
Each song is just better and better.

"I'm blown away by George Huff's voice. On Idol, we didn't hear the fullrange of his talent with those 2 minute renditions of songs picked by the producers. This album shows him to have an incredible range that is closer to Clay Aiken than to Ruben Studdard. While his music is definitely soulful, it's also pop friendly. On this, he turns in honorable renditions of Christmas classics such as "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" which is smooth jazzy and shows off his warm, husky vocals. Also interesting is the cool way producers Cedric & Victor Caldwell play the melody of "Me & Mrs. Jones" under the "Angeles Medley." It's very smooth and unique.
On "Silent Night" and "Oh Holy Night" Huff just plainly shows why he was the highest ranked male on this year's "American Idol." He belts the tunes without over-singing, providing the perfect amount of climatic drama without screaming into our ears like so many singers do today. Finally, George pays homage to his New Orleans roots with a bluesy, uptempo take on "Go Tell It on the Mountain." This five song collection and the low retail price guarantee that this will be a hit with Idol fans and all others who enjoy holiday music."
