"The record companies in this country should be ashamed of themselves for how they have neglected their Country artists' back catalogs for re- release on CD. CDs came out almost 25 years ago, and many Country artists still do not have all of their older releases reisssued, or if they are, it was by record companies in other countries, forcing us to buy expensive import releases for American artists. Almost all of Dolly Parton's country 70s releases are still out of print. They are just now starting to release her duet albums with Porter Wagoner. (I guess we have to wait until people die before we see their recordings surface on CD. How sad.) As for this 2fer, it is long overdue, and although it is great to see it, why the hodgepodge of releases? Very few record companies seem to be willing to release an artist's back catalog in an orderly or timely way. Just the occasional oddball release of 2fers of two LPs that, many times, were not even released consecutively when they first came out. Now that Ive vented, I DO recommend this CD, we have to take what we can get...."

"Two classic George and Tammy releases on one disk. I enjoyed the heck out of their chemistry together. It is easy to see how they performed so successfully together for so long, in spite of their tumultuous relationship over the years."
