"This 2 CD boxed set has 44 of George's biggest hits. It does feature songs from all of the labels he has recorded for spanning 1955-1989. The first CD contains songs from the 1950's-1960's, with a few of his first major hits on Epic Records, while the 2nd CD contains many of his biggest hits on Epic expanding the 1982 compilation "Anniversary: 10 Years of Hits" while this collection also has many tracks from Rhino's "The Best of George Jones " compilation. Even though he has 140 top 40 chart hits, this does contain the best of George and is the perfect introduction to his music making this a must have in your collection if you want to find out what classic country sounds like."
