"consisting of trumpet or flugelhorn, baritone sax or flute, piano , bass, and drums. George Rabbai played in Woody Herman's band. There are six vocals by the horn players, one of them a scat vocal of the title song, as expected. While the vocals are nice enough, they shouldn't give up their horns! All of the tracks are pretty good straight ahead jazz.My favorites are "Tenderly", "I'm Confessin'", and an original,"Persnickety". Selections from the cd have gotten a fair amount of air play on the PBS jazz station locally (St. Louis area). The guys are pretty good on their instruments."
