"Sorry. The sound quality on this CD is dismal. One doesn't expect miricles, but this is rediculous. On top of that, the particular versions of many of the pieces are not Shearing's best."

"George Shearing is an icon of 20th century jazz! This album, September in the Rain, is one of his original best. The cool, fluid and romantic sounds are ever present in the albums title song September in the Rain and his rendition of other jazz standards Jump for Joy, I Remember April and East of the Sun. If your a Shearing fan, you'll love this album"
