Alabama-born George "Wild Child" Butler has been blowing his harp and singing the blues for over 30 years now; his repertoire evokes the sound of Sonny Boy Williamson, Howlin' Wolf and Willie Dixon. He is a real treasure, one of the last surviving downhome bluesmen who can still play and sing lowdown, mean blues with strength and freshness. This album was produced by Mike Vernon, recorded in 1993 at Jigsaw Studios in Surrey, England.
