"I saw this same concert in 1970, only in Metz, not at Bobino. I don't usually like live-concert albums, but this one is worth the money. The best way to describe Moustaki in his late-'60s and early-'70s incarnation is sophisticated folk acoustical. His trademark "Temps de Vivre" is on here from the album "Le Meteque" but there are also such great songs as "Ma Liberte," the island-sounding "Dans Mon Hamac" and "Eden Blues." The girl backup singer on this album is superb. If I recall, her name is Dominique LeForestiere. The cello player is also tremendous. This and "Le Meteque" are Moustaki's finest work."

"I think this is THE best Moustaki record available. I first bought the vinyl while studying in France in 1972, and just purchased it for the first time on CD. It had every bit the punch as it did in '72. Fabulous voice, and haunting arrangements, and all live!!"
