"Gerald Alston's solo debut album was one of 1988's five best R&B albums. His producers gave him some first-rate material and he works his vocal magic on such gorgeous Quiet Storm ballad gems as "Stay A Little While", "I've Waited All Night", "Midnight Angel" and "Let's Try Love Again". Smooth soul ballads from a master crooner."
