"I was a high-school exchange student in France and that is when I fell in love with this band. I wouldn't say they sound "American" more than anything in the Western hemisphere sounds "American," but Gerard de Palmas is a great guitar player, who has obviouly been influenced by Clapton as well as more traditional French music. I hardly notice that he's singing in French (partly because I speak fluently) but the lyrics are amazing and heart-felt, and he has the complete support of the crowds he's playing for. It is amazing to be able to share in the enthousiasm of the crowd, and you can hear how much fun de Palmas is having. GREAT ALBUM! Don't need to speak French to love it."

"I was in France, listening to the radio, and the song "Elle s'ennuie" came on. I was instantly hooked. I had to find this artist and buy the album. I certainly did NOT regret it! There isn't a single song on these two discs that I do not like. The musical style is actually very American - De Palmas claims many blues artists as influences. Check him out."
