A pleasant singer

"Gidi Gov has been a mainline Israel singer for more than two decades. Perhaps most famously he was the lead- singer, and second- moving spirit along with his friend Danny Sanderson of what is arguably Israel's greatest group of all time, 'Kaverret.'
Gov is a pleasant singer who seems at time to be a kind of lesser version, also in his sometimes nonchalant manner of Arik Einstein.
But he can be very good indeed. He also especially with 'Kaverret' had a good sense of humor and a playful irony is often part of his singing.
Perhaps his most famous song opens 'Tesha b'kikar b'Yom Sheshee , ( Nine o'clock in the town square on Friday night and the children begin to sing)."
