Fertile Ground Revisited
03/23/2000
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I am glad to see this album available again. I purchased it in 1991, and it is among my favorites. Ginger's singing is moving, and her songs and arrangements are top notch. "Give A Little Bit Back" is a moving anthem for the need to respect the Earth and all its creatures, "Roseville Fair" is a moving tale of first love, and until I heard this CD, I was sure that Rod Stewart had cut the definitive version of "Reason To Believe." The reason I am glad this CD is again available is that friends keep borrowing my copy and I usually have to track 'em down to get it back. No more! They can buy their own."

"I hadn't heard of Ginger until I bought this CD. It has become one of my favorites--her clear voice and the simple, earthy songs always cheer me up. I am happy she has another CD out--I hope she makes more."
What ever became of Grant?

"I remember Red, White, and Bluegrass--I have 2 of their records and wish more were available on disc. I have enjoyed FG for a year or so now and thought that Ginger had a new disc available and am hoping soon I will be able to find it."
