Very good Italian R&B

"I think that this album summarizes what Italian music can best produce: artists that really sing with true music that take you directly to that ideal country that is Italy. Songs vary from real R&B to "variétés" that is to be compared to Ricci & Poveri which was and still is one of the best Italian band of the 80's. A great investment to resume Italian ambiance and feelings at home. What I would regret is that Amazon does not propose any of the former albums of Giorgia which were bestsellers in Latin Europe. In the same kind of music, I would strongly recommend Mieta, solo female singer who has a voice that is truly thrilling and sings a lot of new version of songs like "Hot Stuff" originally performed by Donna Summer (original soundtrack of The Full Monty) all performed in Italian and dedicated to lovers of the world. Enjoy your time with these two Artists, they deserve it."

""Mangio Troppo Cioccolata" (or, I eat too much choccolate) is a collection of mostly smoothly sung, poppy ballads. The sound of Giorgia's latest album is what I call jazzy pop, music with tempo and undertones of a piano and horns. There's a surprise on the CD, a song in Spanish and Italian, "Sueño Latino". My favorite song on this album is "Un'ora sola ti vorrei" (or, I'd like you for just one hour) where Giorgia clearly would like just a little more time with a man who has moved on. If you like this album, collect her earlier work Giorgia, Come Thelma & Louise and Strano Il Mio Destino."
