The tracks on this CD represent the band arrangements of Glenn Miller's Band Of The AAF performed not only by the original band but later manifestations of the original band led by different leaders, but featuring mainly original members of the AAF band and in two instances Al Klink and Doc Goldberg who were members of the original civilian Glenn Miller Orchestra. It will be noted that several track names are duplicated and it should be said that these represent different recordings by differently led versions of the band, for instance Sweet Lorraine is performed by the band led by Jerry Gray and again by Norman Leyden with vocals by Artie Malvin in the first instance and secondly by Johnny Desmond. This CD is sure to appeal to those who delight in the music of Glenn Miller And The AAF Band.
