Digitally remastered and expanded edition of the Disco/Soul vocalist's 1975 album featuring five bonus tracks including single versions and b-sides. Hot on the heels of her debut, Experience solidified Gloria Gaynor's Disco and radio following when released in 1975. As well as the UK hit 'How High The Moon', the album featured the American hit singles '(If You Want It) Do It Yourself', 'Walk On By' and the underground Disco classic 'Casanova Brown'. The album went top 40 in the USA and top 20 in Sweden when originally released. Also included are detailed liner notes featuring a brand new interview with Tom Moulton about his work on the album. 13 tracks.

"I pre-ordered this cd excitedly (together with Gloria's "Never Can Say Goodbye") last March 2010 when I first heard that it was finally being released on cd after 35 years (36 years for "Never Can Say Goodbye" which was released in 1974). But for some reason, after many delays in shipping due to non-availability of the items at Amazon and a cancelled order with the first 3rd party seller and re-ordering from another 3rd party seller, I was finally able to get this coveted cd only after 3 long months on June 28, 2010 (together with the other one). The long wait that was definitely worth it!

Like the first cd of Gloria "Never Can Say Goodbye," this cd was lovingly put together in a beautiful jewel case (not the usual or standard type), with liner notes, and then superb sound due to remastering of the originals. Similar to the concept of her first LP, this follow-up also has 3 songs joined together one after the other (there were 3 songs on side 1 of the LP version): "Casanova Brown," which moves into "If You Want It (Do It Yourself)" and then into "How High The Moon." Aside from the 3 killer dance tracks, my favorite track is the beautiful ballad "Tell Me How" which was on side 2 of the original LP. Love grooving to this sexy song! Bonus tracks are the single versions of the 3 extended dance songs which are worth listening to and give added value to the cd.

All in all, a must own! Quite steeply priced but worth every cent."
