"Often while in Sacramento I find hanging outside of a club, and listening to the word salad of the homeless, schizophrenic folks, to be more interesting than the mating rituals and music going on inside. However, this is not true when Go National is playing. If you have an aversion for spunky music then, one, seek therapy, and two, go see them anyway, just to observe the energy exchange between these lively musicians and their deeply disturbed fans. Personally this energy feeds my soul and keeps me up all night, and what's not to love about unfocused mania? My predilection borders on paraphilia. And now you too can become a fervent fan because with their new CD, Got My One Good Eye On You, they can be enjoyed in the privacy of your own home, and since there'll be no dress code, I recommend listening to them naked, preferably with a friend..."
