"The once rare Perche'Si Uccidono soundtrack has actually been available for a regular price on CD for a some time, however, it once fetched several hundred US dollars just over a year ago when it was only available on LP, and only a limited number of pressings were made available. Goblin adopted the name "Il reale impero britannico" for this motion picture (the reasons behind this remain somewhat of a mystery...but isn't that part of the fascination with Goblin?) surrounding the story of some young suicidal drug addicts. What sounds to be a rather macarbe story line, actually results in some very beautiful and groove soaked Goblin soundtrack music, complete with the usual Simonetti - Morante - Pignatelli - lineup, with Martino. Many of the tracks have differing songwriters, although it is assumed that Goblin performed all of them, and you can certainly hear the trademark Goblin versatility in the music. One of the tracks even has a vocal line, with the voice of Tony Tartarini, who was actually part of the line up of the band "Cherry Five" who eventually evolved into Goblin. I would argue that this is actually one of the best performances by Goblin ever. It certainly shows a period when their artistic careers were at a peak, and the result is wonderfully interesting record that I would recommend to any Goblin fan, either familiar, or unfamiliar with their work."
