"Still searching for the breakthrough album to catch national attention, God Street Wine's self-titled fifth album is more than worth some noteriety. With a tight mature sound not evident on past recordings, GSW takes a clear step forward musically. The songs are diverse, yet focused, with a sense of urgency and passion. A guest appearence by John Popper of Blues Traveler only adds more spice to the album and does not take away from the band's signiture sound. An "A" effort for a band that deserves to be heard."
