"Bloody Buccaneers is the best album they ever made, with a total of ten terrific songs. Face It is a decent album, but it can't stand up to Bloody Buccaneers. Face It contains one slow western love song titled "I Can't Do Without Your Kiss" a fast paced rocker titled "Maximum Make Up" and includes couple of duds, "Angel" and "Liquid Soul." Bloody Buccaneers is a MUST OWN with the sexy rocker, "Making Love To Yourself" (the lyrics are not sick or explicit as the name would imply), the slow but emotional power ballad dedicated to lead singer Barry Hay's deceased friend, "Going To The Run", which contains an 80's sound, the soothing and peaceful "Pouring My Heart Out Again" and "When Love Turns To Pain", the fast paced rockers "Planet Blue" and "Joe", and the emotional rocker with a modern, rough sound, "In A Bad Mood". Overall, Bloody Buccaneers is a fantastic album, and Face It hovers around average. But, a lot of people have enjoyed Face It, and you can get these two much-loved albums for the price of one. Don't miss out. If you want to get into GE, start with this package and stay away from Contraband and Paradise In Distress until you get into them."
Looky here , what a package,what a deal.

"Bloody Buccaneers is a very good cd,and Face It is a great cd,for the price of one.Nice.Temporary Madness is the most hypnotic song since the Moontan days.Rest of Buccs is a solid effort.Face It is pure rock'n roll Earring style, without a weak track, with Legalize Telepathy being the stellar track of this one.If you kind of like GE but have not got any in a while due to not knowing what to get, this is a very solid package. They are definitely on a roll here."

"The Golden Earring is a Dutch band that plays various types of music styles , from accoustic to bluesy to rock and even heavy rock sounding music. This album is not one of the best ones from this band , but overall it sounds good. The soft sounds of 'Going To The Run' and 'Pourin' My Heart Out Again' , the smooth rock sound of 'In A Bad Mood' and the more boosting rock sound of 'Planet Blue' make this album worth to listen to."
