Ewan Pearson remix worth it's weight in gold

(4 out of 5 stars)
"Since it's digital and technically doesn't weigh anything, that's probably a bad analogy. But the Ewan Pearson remix (Track 4) is worth the price of admission for the entire cd. It's a 10-minute-plus track that takes you on an epic journey that combines all the best aspects of dance music: perfectly-executed sonic textures and sounds, a driving beat and a wonderful melody that carries throughout. It takes some time to build, but once it catches its stride, it's a great ride.
The other mixes are also solid, each of them adding a different take but ultimately resting on the laurels of the original song's melodies, which are very strong. I give the overall LP 4 starts instead of 5 because it's always hard to give five stars to an LP with four different versions of the same song. Regardless, it's definitely worth a spin - and the money."
