"Took me awhile to locate a copy of this CD,but well worth it.Even had it 'on special order' at a record store for two years(you read that right).'Live In...' was recorded in May,1973 at a venue called the Salle Bataclan in Paris. At least as good as their 'Floating Anarchy' disc(see my review).Includes the band's one-time 'Radio Gnome Trilogy' configuration of Allen,Smyth,Hillage,Malherbe,Moerlen,Blake and Howlett. When your hear this CD,you'll see that all seven members are pulling their own rather well.A total of eleven tracks with a running time of 76:48 is almost certain to give some Gong fans a natural high. The tunes that I dug the most were the seventeen-minute opener "Dynamite,I Am Your Animal","You Can't Kill Me",Didier Malherbe's flute-laced gem "Flute Salad","Flying Teapot"(hear the King Crimson influence)and "Wet Drum Sandwich".Comes with a 20-page booklet that has mostly French text as well as cover art by founder Daevid Allen.A truly great cosmic rock title to add to your music collection.Recommended."
