"Listened to the "Goose" during the early '70's and fell in love with them. I had an LP of "Words of Earnest" and listened to it over and over again. Somewhere during the years I lost the LP and lost track of Goose Creek Symphony. Recently attended a live concert performance of the "Goose" and they were as great as ever. However, for a purely wonderful acoustic performance "Acoustic Goose" is the best I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. I only hope that some of their early music such as "Words of Earnest" will be rereleased sometime in the future. I would love to have every CD they ever made."
Awesome accoustics and imaginative lyrics

"If you're a fan of both country and bluegrass, then you will absolutely love this album. By far the best Goose Creek Symphony collection currently available (but don't hesitate to get the others - they're all great). I listened to Goose Creek during the 70's and recently rediscovered them thanks to amazon.com."
Their best

"I have always loved Goose Creek. I really liked the fiddle playing and thought this accoustic outing would suffer from a lack of it. It doesn't. Theirs songs are sung just like it was 1971 and the accoustic guitar leads are so good I don't even think about the missing fiddle. Because this has most of their best songs performed in a great way and the cd has a great sound quality, I think it is thier best."
