"In the early 70s a bunch of us stationed at willie field AZ use to ride hard, party hard, and had a damn good time. This is one of the albums that helped tie it all together. One night the Goose played Phoenix and we all went. Something I will never forget. We need this music now more then ever. The music reflected our roots as well as our evolution. The lyrics reflected our hearts and our minds."
A superb album

"this album was a staple for me while doing just about anything! toe tappin', hand clappin', singin along with FUN music. i got all my buddies hooked on this unique, feel good music. if the band had as much fun making it(i think they did) as we all did listening & beating on anything to keep rhythm, then it was a great big whoop-up of a recording session. I WANT A CD! a real gem."
The best mix of bluegrass/rock/philosophy ever.

"Welcome to Goose Creek is essential to any collection of music, as are their other great issues: Goose Creek Symphony Est: 1970, and Words of Earnest. I want very much to add these three classics to my collection, as well as purchasing additional copies as gifts. Words of Earnest alone can change your life, pick you up when you're down, and EST:1970 can "get your head back on the right track"."
Excellent uplifting album.
