Awesome Hardcore Black Metal

"1994 was a big year for Black Metal and this album is one of the best. The line up here was Hat on vocals, Infernus (ex-Borknagar) on guitar, Samoth (ex-Zyklon, Emperor) on bass, and Goatpervertor on drums. This is raw, tough black metal, there is none of that symphonic stuff here. It is not a blast beat record either. The sound and rhythm is more reminiscent of hardcore punk and thrash metal but it is unmistakably a raw black metal sound. It's just awesome."

"music that emphasizes strength, heroism and adventure. it is therefore destined to be marginalized by bitter drones whose lives are regimented into eat/sleep/work/consume/mate. recommended if you have what might be called a soul."
