"Enrique Granados for me is very special. I was born in Spain myself, and he is my great, great grandfather. Infact, my mothers maiden name is Granados. I grew up listening to his music and in my opinion, there has never been such an incredible composer and performer like Granados! It is beautiful music that is so enjoyable! I hope you enjoy it as much as I have these past 32 years!"
Fascinating!

"If you think you are familiar with this music, you're in for a pleasant surprise when you hear this recording. Granados's "interpretations" of his own music are unlike any others I've heard, and they are fascinating. He gets "colors" from the Spanish Dances that even that greatest of Granados players, Alicia de Larrocha, never found. This is a great historical recording, and, even more important, wonderfully beautiful music. The sound quality and restoration are of the highest quality too."
A wonderful CD of glorious music.

"We are so lucky that these recordings have been preserved. Granados gave so much. I listen to the CD almost everyday and it always raises my spirits. Granados' playing is an ocean wave of colour, rythm and lust for life. More people should hear this CD."
