Album DescriptionFormed in 2005, Grayceon is an atypical three-piece from San Francisco comprised of electric cello, guitar, drums, and double-vocals. Pulling together an extremely diverse range of musical influences and writing styles, Grayceon defies the boundaries of the metal/rock/progressive genres and builds a wall of sound so thick that it's a shock to know there are only three members. "This Grand Show" is the band's second full-length offering, comprised of dark, melodic, doom driven passages that will appeal to fans of the neo classical post-rock, metal, indie, and experimental scenes. Grayceon features Jackie Perez Gratz (Amber Asylum, Giant Squid) on electric cello and vocals, Max Doyle (Walken) on guitar and vocals, and Zack Farwell (Walken) on drums. Jackie also has performed on various albums by artists such as Asunder, Ludicra, Matmos, Neurosis, Two Gallants, and Today is the Day.
