"This collection was recorded live to two-track in 1989. I don't think this was ever meant for public consumption, and was most likely recorded so the band's label could decide which songs GW should record properly and include on their albums. (Almost every GW album has at least one "cover" song.) There are at least four songs that GW recorded on later albums or B-sides -- in all cases the next version is much more polished. This is a must-have for serious GW fans, but the sound quality and overall lack of production make this an album to be avoided by the casual fan."
Can't say anything bad about this; in fact...

"...its a really great CD! i get flack from others who come into my office and see "Great White" CDs around, but I've always said 'show me ANY other band out today that plays just good ol' fashion rock and roll, like it should be played'. The list they usually give is small. Thus, when GW put out an album of covers (which usually goes over poorly anywhere except Japan it seems), many might see it as the last nail in their coffin. Well, this is one heavy-hitting nail! The covers seem to be carefully chosen to include many different genre's of rock and roll: Stone's cover-medley, 2 Paul Roger's tracks (from his days in Free and Bad Co.), and my favorite, a cover of the Cult's 'Love Removal Machine' played BETTER than I've ever heard!!! Its not the first time a CD of covers was released by GW: a show of Led Zeppelin covers (recorded live, I believe) was issued a little while back, and it seems to hit just as hard and cool as this one. Overall, this CD rocks! Dig on the guitar solo in the Cult cover...he out-does Duffy by a mile! Keep up the great work, guys!! We love it!Say what one will, this is a great CD"
One of their best!!

"While some may not like the 2 track sound on this album, I have to give an excellent review. I think this album sounds better than most of their releases. All the songs sound as good or better than the oringinals. I could have done without the Stones cover, as I can't stand them to begin with, but overall an excellent album. I consider this album to be a must have, whether a casual fan, or a hard core fan like me."
Great white does it better then the original
