"This is it T. Rex fans and those curious to learn about Marc Bolan and T. Rex. This is the BEST compilation that's out there if you don't want to splurge for the 20th Century Superstar box set or all the individual albums. If you want to know why T. Rex was as popular as the Beatles everywhere (except the U.S.) check this album out---unfortunately it hasn't been issued (yet I hope) in the U.S. and is only available as an import. If you listen to the first 7 or 8 tracks and you're not hooked--you don't love rock and roll. This has all the hits, should have been hits (post 1974), rarities (like the great Raw Ramp) and early tracks from Bolan's folkish Tyrannosaurus Rex period. Attention: Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominating committee: GET THIS ALBUM...really listen to it..note how great and enjoyable it is...then note all the bands old and brand new who have stolen ideas from the genius Marc Bolan...then put Marc Bolan in the Hall of Fame in 2009. If you don't, you can't really be called a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
